ACN Expands Product Offering in Puerto Rico
ACN Inc. has expanded its services into Latin America with the launch of VoIP service and video phone capabilities in Puerto Rico.
VoIP phone service uses a customer's broadband computer connection to channel telephone calls. The video service allows customers to see each other while talking on the phone.
ACN was founded in 1993. In February, the company said it would consolidate its U.S. operations at a 17-acre campus in Concord.
The site, once the headquarters of the CT Communications Inc., is off Interstate 85 at exit 60. Arkansas-based Windstream Corp. (NYSE:WIN) bought CT Communications, a Concord-based telecom company, in August for $585 million.
