Ambit Energy to Host More Than 10,000 At 7th Annual Conference

September 03, 2013 DALLAS--Ambit Energy, a nationally leading retail energy provider of electricity and natural gas in deregulated states across the country, expects to welcome more than 10,000 independent sales consultants from all 50 states to its home in Dallas for AMBITION 2013: Reach Further on Sept. 11 – 14. This marks the seventh consecutive year Ambit Energy has hosted the conference, which will be its largest gathering ever.

"As we continue to provide our customers across the country great service and impressive savings, we expect even greater growth over the next few years." .Currently, Ambit Energy is on track to create more than $29 million in total economic impact for the City of Dallas with lodging, entertainment, transportation and dining expenses.

"This has been a remarkable year for Ambit Energy," said Co-founder and CEO of Ambit Energy Jere Thompson. "We have eclipsed benchmarks of $1 billion in annual revenue, 1 million customers and 250,000 independent sales consultants in 2013, and I believe that the best is yet to come."

The annual event will take place in five venues across Dallas, including the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Hilton Anatole, Sheraton Dallas, Omni Hotel and the American Airlines Center for its general session. Keynotes and plenary speaking events, skills training workshops, and celebratory events will host thousands of outstanding leaders in the direct sales business. Leadership expert, best-selling author and keynote speaker John Maxwell will address the assembly at American Airlines Center. Additionally, renowned trainers Joseph McClendon, the team of Andrea Waltz and Richard Fenton, and Joel Zeff will all be speaking.
